Engaging characters. Interesting plot line.The trouble with this book starts almost exactly in the middle. To that point, the plot makes sense, the tech is explainable and the action / suspense keeps one involved. The section in the middle that adds a visit to ancient earth in which "EVE" saves Moses and the Hebrews from the Pharaoh is so bad, it makes the reader want to stop reading and move on to other material.
It is as if someone other than the author wrote this section, it is completely out of context with first half of the book and detracts from the plot line. I can only speculate that the finished product wasn't long enough and this section was added after the book was complete.
If you simply skip that section, you will be more than satisfied with this book.

Great story and plot, the only reason it doesn't garner a 5 is some of the spelling and some unfinished paragraphs and sentences.
Very interesting story line. I had trouble putting the book down when I started reading.
From the start I couldn't tell which way this was going, lots of twists, a great story and very well written, looking forward to further adventures
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and look forward to reading the sequels. Best word I can up with to describe this book is...intense. It has a very good starting chapter and never gives up with the tension as the 'survivors' struggle to overcome seemingly impossible odds.
Deans imagination knows no boundaries.
Another action packed and fast paced read.
Very difficult to put down, once in the groove.

Could not put it down. This book was unbelievable and amazing. It's sci-fi, which I love, and it is full of action and suspense. Great characters and the author draws you into a world where man and machine battle for humanity. I am very impressed by the book. It is a definite must read for anyone wanting excitement and danger.
Book 1 is awesome. Looking forward to the rest in the series The story is GREAT, The pace is very fast and is the Author's usual greatness !! This guy writes SCI FI as good as his Action Thrillers. A MUST READ
